Lynne brings leadership experience as an Executive Director overseeing operations, budgets, and teams, along with her service on the Mount Airy Town Council from 2021 to 2025, including as Town Council Secretary.

Fiscal Responsibility

Careful, sustainable budgeting and sound financial decisions that respect taxpayers.

Clear responsibility for decisions and follow-through on commitments to the community.

Communication

Listening to residents and supporting open, respectful communication about town priorities.

Experience That Matters

Mount Airy Town Council | 2021–2025

Lynne served on the Mount Airy Town Council from 2021 to 2025, including serving as Town Council Secretary. During her tenure, she served as Council Liaison to the Parks and Recreation Commission, Beautification Commission, Streets and Roads Commission, and Flat Iron Task Force.

Her council service provided firsthand experience with town operations, community priorities, and the importance of responsive, accountable local government.

Professional and Community Leadership

Lynne brings extensive accounting and finance experience from the federal government, the private sector, and volunteer service. Her community involvement includes MAMSA, MAYAA, the Moms Club, and the Linganore Drama Boosters.

As an Executive Director in senior living, Lynne was accountable to an ownership group, residents, families, and a management company. That leadership experience reinforced the importance of responsible financial management, clear communication, and following through on commitments.

Throughout her career, Lynne has provided financial oversight, reviewed budgets, and worked to ensure resources are managed carefully and responsibly. She wants to bring that experience and attention to detail to serving Mount Airy.
